As the owner of LiveBand entertainment, I know that a live wedding band is the key to a truly sensational day. Every year, I get the pleasure of providing stunning live music for a whole host of events. But I have to admit that weddings are my absolute favourite! Providing the soundtrack for a couple’s special day is a real privilege. Plus, it’s one that I love to share with you all on this blog. So this week, I’m turning the spotlight to James and Lynsey. The couple recently said ‘I do’ to each other, and to funktastic live wedding band, FuncTown (aka Funk On The Rocks)!
The mission, should we choose to accept it
James and Lynsey wanted to find the perfect live wedding band for their big day.
Gorgeous couple James and Lynsey approached us to let us know they were getting hitched and they were after a reyt good Yorkshire knees-up.
The chosen band would be joining the happy couple at the stunning Victoria Hotel in super-scenic seaside retreat Robin Hoods Bay. With breathtaking views of the coastline, elegant architecture and an intimate atmosphere, the scene was all set for an incredible day. All that was missing was the music….

First things first, James was an absolute pleasure to work with! His love for music made helping him plan the perfect live wedding band a breeze.
